New Wings: Part 1

This is part one to New Wings. Enjoy.

   It was lightly raining by the time Mark got back to his apartment. Sighing, he sat and took the stone out from his jacket pocket. What a lucky find, he thought, brushing some mud off of its smooth surface.
   After a short while, he got back up and started to look for a place to put it. There were many places, but he finally settled on putting it next to his computer tower. He could show it to all his fans when he next did recording. It was really pretty, it was worth showing in a video. Placing it carefully, he went to make himself some food.
   A bit of relaxing and loafing around in his apartment brought the time to 8:30 pm. Time to record. His favorite time. Smiling, he headed over to his room and set up all the equipment.
   A horror game was first on the agenda. The Markiplites had found a new game to replace SCP-087-B and Vanish, and they were begging for a part two. Of course he was reserved in playing it, he always was with those types of games. There was plenty of scares to keep his audience entertained, but while he was recording he thought he heard a loud knock. Taking off his headset to look for the source of the noise, a monster promptly slaughtered his character. After he was finished getting over the shock of his character's sudden death, he ended the recording. There was still more to do, but he searched around the room swiftly before starting the next one. He found nothing.
   The next recordings went by swiftly. He showed off the stone he had found and made some witty commentary. They seemed to go by too quickly. Before he knew it he was shutting off his computer. With a deep sigh, he got undressed and dove into bed. As he drifted off to sleep, he faintly heard another small knock...
